Kewra hydrosol, also known as Kewra water, is a floral water produced through the steam distillation of the flowers of the Kewra plant, scientifically known as Pandanus odoratissimus. This plant, native to South Asia, particularly India, is highly valued for its fragrant flowers, which are used in various culinary and aromatic applications.

During the steam distillation process used to extract essential oils, Kewra flowers are steamed, and the resulting condensation yields two products: the essential oil and the hydrosol.
