Lavender hydrosol, also known as lavender water, is a floral water produced during the steam distillation process used to extract lavender essential oil from Lavandula angustifolia or Lavandula officinalis flowers.

As lavender flowers are subjected to steam distillation, the resulting condensation yields two products: the essential oil and the hydrosol.
